We require an experienced Solution Specialist with industry leading knowledge of Microsoft solutions.
This role will be based in the Perth CBD, however travel to client sites will be required.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide presales support and solutions to meet timelines and budgets
- Identify customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs within area of specialisation
- Identify opportunities for sales of services, software and Product offerings
- Architect and plan Microsoft solution assessments and projects
- Provide Pre-sales support including software and services scoping for Microsoft solutions, focusing on MOE (Windows/Office, MDOP), SCCM, SCOM, Microsoft Forefront Suite, Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), Microsoft Directory Services, Microsoft Unified Communications suite (excluding voice) and Microsoft Virtualization Solutions
- Partner with other Specialists (internal and external) to develop and propose solutions
- Provide assistance to account managers/executives by contributing to proposals and tenders
- Present solutions to customers
- Define implementation project scope, deliverables, costs and acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in post-sales activities including project evaluations, issues management and customer events.
- Maximize customer satisfaction through the development of trust and credibility
- Demonstrated experience in developing technology business cases.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Strong Presales experience in customer facing role
- Proven track record with pre-sales
- Demonstrated skills in developing valued relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry leaders
- Effective oral and written communication skills to influence and persuade customers using a broad understanding of solution sets
- Relevant Microsoft Certifications
- Experience with complementary Microsoft Solution (Sharepoint, SQL, Exchange, OCS) desirable
- Experience with complementary technology solutions (VMWare ESX, Citrix, Cisco, Quest)
- Exposure to PM methodologies
