Working as the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Team Lead you will report to the Manager Solution Architecture, Integration and Development Services for general direction, supervision, management, performance management and to ensure alignment with the defined methodology, standards, processes and tools.

Acting as the SAP BW Team Lead and to provide consulting services including:

• Use the BW Blueprint documents as a base to configure and build the related functional processes during the Realisation phase.
• Design, configure and deploy SAP BW and BO in alignment with the business requirements
• Implement SAP BW based Business Intelligence systems, including industry and/or functional best practices, and works closely implementing the BW functionality and best practices to address the ERP business needs.
• Write Functional/Technical Specifications, liaise with the Technical team to provide functional expertise and test related developments.
• Provide both solution and technical input and guidance to other streams within the project as well as to the business in the area of SAP BW
• Participate in multi-disciplinary internal and external project teams
• Proactively and operationally deliver consultancy services that support the business and ICT needs for the ERP programme of work
• Work with the other SAP Functional Consultants to ensure a fully integrated ERP system meets the business requirements.
• Work with the other SAP Functional Consultants to ensure and deliver a fully integrated SAP solution that is aligned with the business requirements
• Proactively and operationally deliver SAP BW technical consultancy services that support

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience and substantial knowledge in provision of SAP Business Warehouse services in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.
• Minimum of 8+ years experience in the area of SAP BW and BO.
• Proven experience gained within a multi-disciplinary function including the ability to provide and seek expert advice, coordinate and manage Business Intelligence activities and resources effectively to achieve work goals to meet deadlines and commitments, and establish and monitor outcomes that meet customer and organisational requirements.
• Minimum of 4+ full life cycle implementations of SAP BW in large organisations Certification in SAP Business Warehouse.
• Proven experience with ASAP methodology
• Experience/knowledge of the application of ICT in local government.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience and substantial knowledge in the provision of Business Intelligence Architecture, particularly in the areas of Enterprise Performance management, Report, Query and Analysis, Data Migration, and Information Management in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in applying SAP Business Warehouse best practices to design, implement and support the implementation of complex Business Intelligence solutions in conjunction with the Business Objects tools
• Demonstrated experience using tools to conduct in-depth analysis using highly developed investigative skills and the ability to work co-operatively with Subject Matter Experts and Business Representatives.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of and/or deployment of methodologies, procedures, practices and guidelines relevant to the provision of SAP Business Warehouse and related services.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of team collaboration, team mentoring, consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and assertiveness in order to resolve issues and meet changing customer needs relevant to the provision of Business Intelligence services.

This role will be offered to the successful candidate on an initial 6 month contract and is due to start asap.
