IT Consultant

Seeking Systems or Network Engineers who wants to progress into IT Consultants- client facing role with heaps of challenge and career progression.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Client facing and maintaining relationships with key clients
• Management Reporting and Documentation
• Data analysis (SQL, Oracle or DB2)
• Analyse IT environment and deliver compliance assessment projects
• Demonstrate and apply strong technical skills in networking and systems administration
• Perform technical analysis of complex information.

Skills required:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 2-3 years experience with IT related role
• Hands-on experience in various platforms including AIX, Red Hat, Solaris, HP-UX or Windows
• Knowledge of VBS, Perl and/or UNIX/Windows commands
• Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Interest in pursuing a career of consulting to external organisations and delivering projects and interacting with clients / customers.
• Exposure to database programming in SQL, Oracle or IBM is preferred.
• Exposure to middleware and/or knowledge in middleware architecture
• Exposure to the design, execution and analysis of IT hardware and systems auditing.
• TCP/IP networking, Database technology (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, DB2), Virtualisation (VMware, AIX, Xen) and Citrix.
