TEST MANAGER - EL1 POSITION

Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced and qualified Test Manager for an initial contract through until 30 June 2013.
This position is located in the Canberra CBD.

Services Required:

• Managing and promoting a standardised testing process across all Departmental/Agency IT Projects;
• Implementing and tracking the suite of testing deliverables;
• Providing accurate and timely executive level reports;
• Work with the Program Test Managers and Project Architect to identify and document dependencies;
• Ongoing training needs identification of testing staff, including running in-house training on a variety of topics;
• User Acceptance Testing co-ordination assistance and support;
• Performance (Load/Stress/Volume) testing co-ordination;
• Test Automation services and activities co-ordination;
• Security Penetration testing co-ordination;
• Participate in Program [Release] start-up activities;
• Undertake manual testing (including test case design, test execution, raising and monitoring defects).

Skills and Experience required

• Strong successful track record as a Test Manager, within Federal Government environments;
• Management and coordination of performance (Load/Stress/Volume) and security penetration testing;
• Demonstrated experience in planning and co-ordinating testing activities for several test teams concurrently; and
• Experience running in-house training and needs identification of testing staff
• Minimum Baseline Clearance required
