Technical Project Coordinator/ Junior Project Manager required for large NSW IT program, initial 6 month contract, Gosford based.

As the Technical Project Coordinator, you will deliver the migrations within this IT Infrastructure project specifically for North Sydney and Central Coast regions. You will play a key role in the vision to deliver a single user identity across the state for this large NSW Government organisation by providing a state wide active directory.

This project will also provide state wide email messaging, archival services and management tools to effectively manage and monitor users and the desktop.

Under the guidance of the Project Manager, your duties will include:

• develop and manage multiple project plans,
• provide regular and accurate project reports,
• assess, communicate and resolve risks and issues in a timely manner;
• effectively manage relations with customers, vendors, project and operational support teams;
• work within agreed timeframes and budgets and be responsible for key deliverables and work streams.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated extensive project coordination skills and experience including project design, implementation, reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Must be able to demonstrate working with and supporting corporate change management teams
• Technical knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes
• Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting and the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of IT delivery co-ordination and project and program management of large IT projects and initiatives including resource scheduling and tracking tools, planning and forecasting
• Prince 2 Project Management Methodology exposure/experience.
