This financial organisation is seeking a Solution Architect to join the team based in the Sydney CBD for an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions.

If successful you will be working on a regulatory project, you will have experience in legacy environments and you will know lifecycle development practices. Ideally your experience will include the wealth management sector and you will have worked on multiple projects.

To be considered for this role you will have

• Around 5+ years experience as a Solution Architect
• Experience in shaping project solutions in the concept and business case phases plus developing the solution architect during the design and build phases.
• Previous experience with Agile methodologies would be a bonus
• A background in Financial Services; Ideally Wealth Management is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in developing solution architectures in a complex environment that includes vendor supplied applications, services with legacy / bespoke solutions and the integration of systems and applications with multiple complex interfaces
• Previous experience working on large scale projects or in multi-project teams
• Ability to develop conceptual models and process diagrams and a proven track record in software design including SOA and OO Design
• Previous experience on regulatory, superannuation or Insurance projects would be highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of business knowledge
• A proven ability to engage with all levels of the business
• Excellent communication and consulting skills
