Checkpoint Network/Security Engineer - Leading Global Organization (S27)

Award winning Global Professional Services Company requires a Checkpoint Network Engineer for a 6 months plus contract at their client site in Sydney. Your role will involve implementation of security and network systems/software solutions

Your role will involve being responsible for;

• Checkpoint & Cisco Routing & Switching issues
• Security
• LAN / WAN network upgrades
• Fault finding
• Troubleshooting IP Network issues
• Develop, plan, test and implement network related products.

To succeed in this role you have a;

• Minimum 3 years plus experience working as a Network Engineer.
• Strong understanding of the Checkpoint suite
• Either CCNA or CCNP certified.
• A good understanding of both Juniper & Cisco Networks
• Operational environment experience required.
• Excellent attitude, presentation & communication skills are essential

Industry / Vendor certifications such as: McAfee, Cisco, Checkpoint & Bluecoat are desirable.
