An outstanding long term contract opportunity is currently available for an experienced Cisco Network Administrator. Working as a
key member of the existing team you will be responsible for providing day to day operational support and calling you on your Network subject matter
knowledge and skills you will solve network issues and network related business issues within established guidelines, recommends appropriate
alternatives and solution and drive incidents to resolution and route cause.
The key focus on this role is around Firewall Management across various firewall platforms and IP Telephony skill sets relating
to the management of call manager systems.
The primary responsibilities of the position will include:
Assist with the administration and maintenance of the client’s data infrastructure.
Own and drive to successful resolution incidents and problem related tickets.
Assist with the implementation of Network equipment upgrades, relocation and refresh.
Complete Network Move, Add, Changes (MACs).
Perform hardware and system implementations.
Certificate Renewal.
Reviewing and setting alert thresholds.
Identify/rectify customer problems.
Participate in the handover process of new systems and services into Production.
Perform peer review on other team member’s solutions and changes.
Essential Skill/Experience Requirements
Knowledge of Firewall systems.
Working knowledge of Cisco Unified Communication Manager.
Knowledge in Load Balancing and Content Delivery services including Internet facing multi-tier application environment (Web hosting, Application
integration, SSL, and Proxy) and Cisco switches and routers.
Configuration, Implementation, Testing and Problem solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and time constraints.
Team player, motivated with a strong customer focus.
Desired Skill/Experience Requirements
ITIL certification.
Netcache/Bluecoat proxy certification.
Share Point experience.
Industry knowledge/experience in the Financial sector.

Be prepared to work outside normal working hours as team roster and project requirements dictate.
Valid driver’s licence and ability to provide own transport as required.
This role will be offered to the successful candidate on an initial 10 month contract and is starting asap.
